This CLE explores the emerging use of collaborative principles in traditionally adversarial civil matters—particularly probate and guardianship. The session will focus on how collaborative law aligns with professional responsibilities, reduces conflict, preserves family relationships, and upholds fiduciary duties. Ethics will be woven throughout, focusing on client communication, capacity, confidentiality, and impartiality in contested or potentially contested proceedings.
