SUMMARY:CDH Monthly Luncheon - September 19\, 2025
DESCRIPTION:“Understanding Texas Visitation Orders for Collaborative Professionals.”   \nEach attendee will be provided an outline overview\, as well as a copy of a Standard Possession Order (highlighting potential elections for an Expanded Possession Order).  The presentation will consist of a “walk-through” of each section of the statutory language: including but not limited to\, definitions\, mutual agreement\, provisions for Thursday and 1st\, 3rd\, 5th Friday weekend possession\, summer and holiday visitation\, surrender and return language\, and general terms and conditions of which to be aware.  Creative adjustments for collaborative cases will be discussed\, as well as the legal consequences of failing to follow the order unless otherwise agreed\, including jail.  Unique ethical considerations will also be addressed.
