This program will discuss the role of the child specialist in the collaborative law/divorce process including when to include a CS on the team and what it is that they do. In addition, we will focus on the collaborative efforts of the CS/MHP team in providing feedback to parents and the whole team and how they work together to create the best outcomes.
One of the speakers is Dr. Honey Sheff, a licensed Clinical Psychologist, who holds a Graduate Certificate Degree in Dispute Resolution and is a Mater Credentialed Collaborative Divorce Professional with over 40 years of experience of clinical experience, with expertise in family issues, divorce, and family violence. Her current clinical work is primarily focused in Collaborative Divorce, where she serves in the roles of Neutral Mental Health Professional and Child Specialist, and in Parenting Coordination, helping families during and after divorce.
The other speaker is Jennifer Leister, LPCS, a licensed professional counselor supervisor and author. She has 17 years of clinical experience with expertise in children and family issues, divorce, and alienation. Her current clinical work is primarily focused in two areas, mental health counseling and forensics. She lectures and trains nationally and locally, has made radio appearances and is a member of CDT, IACP, and AFCC. She received her collaborative credentialing in 2017.
